Latisse is a new approved treatment for hypotrichosis of the eyelashes. This basically means when you have inadequate lashes, Latisse can provide some great benefits. This new treatment enhances the prominence of your eyelashes by:
- Increasing length of the lashes
- Increasing the thickness
- Enhancing color
How it Works
The active ingredient in Latisse is bimatoprost. This special ingredient will promote the growth of longer and fuller eyelashes. The treatment will not replace the need for mascara; however, the treatment will produce longer and darker lashes. You may wish to apply mascara after the treatment to further enhance your eyes.
Using Latisse
Latisse should be applied on a routine basis with precision. Each night, the medication should be applied to the lashes and only after all makeup and contact lenses have been removed.
The product is applied by using a disposable applicator that contains one drop of the solution. Apply this to the skin at the base of the upper eyelashes. Make sure to blot any excess solution from the area. Be sure to only use each applicator once and never try to catch up on a missed application. Stay on a schedule and apply Latisse each night to achieve beautiful lashes.
