How is the procedure performed?
BOTOX® Cosmetic is injected into designated facial or neck muscles utilizing a very fine needle. You may experience some brief, mild discomfort during the injection, but the treatment is very safe and effective. The procedure takes only a few minutes and requires no anesthetic; recovery is immediate, allowing you to return to your normal daily activities the same day.

What is the recovery from BOTOX® Cosmetic like?
There may be some mild bruising immediately after the procedure. This is only temporary and will subside shortly following the procedure. Wrinkles will start fading within 24 hours, with continued improvement over the next five days. The treatment usually lasts up to four months, although some patients report it lasting up to a full year. After several treatments, the results may be prolonged.

What are the potential risks of BOTOX® Cosmetic?
