Appearing on ABC's The View

This week, I had the unique opportunity of appearing on the Emmy®-award winning talk show, The View. The program, which has been on the air since 1997, featured Renee Graziano, star of the hit reality television series, Mob Wives. During the segment, we discussed Ms. Graziano's failed “full body lift” procedure as well as the revision work that we'll be performing. Click play below to watch the clip.

Choosing a Plastic Surgeon

Here are a few of our top tips for choosing a plastic surgeon:

1. Check for board certification. First and foremost, make sure you're dealing with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon. This means they have demonstrated knowledge and experience above and beyond regular medical school, and they have been officially recognized by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
2. Ask to see their work. Plastic Surgery Before and After Photos can give you a good sense of a surgeon's past work. While they can never be a guarantee of what your results will look like, they can increase your basic understanding of a procedure.
3. Ask questions. During your Plastic Surgery Consultation, ask the important questions, such as: What kind of risks are there? Is the surgery center well-equipped? What is the aftercare going to be like? How happy are patients who undergo this procedure?
4. Make sure they're giving you realistic expectations. Keeping your plastic surgery goals realistic and specific is vitally important to patient satisfaction and happiness following a procedure. Be cautious if someone is promising you results that seem too good to be true. As with most things, when it seems too good to be true, it often is.
