Anxiety – it's one of the most common afflictions around. And, researchers at Boston's Brigham and Women's Hospital recently conducted a study on the connection between anxiety and the length of our body's telomeres. What did they find? According to a recent hospital press release, this recent study “shows that a common form of anxiety, known as phobic anxiety, was associated with shorter telomeres in middle-aged and older women. The study suggests that phobic anxiety is a possible risk factor for accelerated aging.”
