Dr. Helen Perakis is a double board certified reconstructive and cosmetic surgeon. She has contributed to research publications and textbooks in the fields of surgery, clinical practice and longevity. She has been invited to give lectures across the country and has volunteered her skills as a surgeon internationally.
Dr. Perakis comes highly recommended from her position as an Attending Physician at Cooley Dickinson Hospital in Northampton, Massachusetts. Previously, Dr. Perakis spent her time in residency at the University of Minnesota where she specialized in plastic and reconstructive surgery, and Georgia Regent University where she spent over five years of concentrated study and clinical practice in head and neck surgery. Throughout that time she has appeared in many publications and academic works due to her expertise in the field.
Dr. Perakis is double board certified in Plastic Surgery by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and Otolaryngology by the American Board of Otolaryngology. She earned her medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine. Dr. Perakis completed her residency in Otolaryngology at Georgia Regents University and in Plastic Surgery at the University of Minnesota. She also has clinical experience in Neurosurgery working on-call at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Since graduating from the Boston University School of Medicine, Dr. Perakis has been committed to advancing medical care practices and helping people achieve a higher quality of life. She has been invited to give lectures across the country and volunteered her skills internationally as a reconstructive and cosmetic surgeon.
