Brazilian Butt Lift
Create a rounder, firmer butt
Are you tired of your flat bottom and want more curves in the right places? If the squats and lunges your personal trainer recommended aren’t giving you the shaped derriere you desire don’t lose hope. A Brazilian Butt Lift may be the solution to the problem diet and exercise haven’t been able to solve for you.
What can a brazilian butt lift do for me?
A perky, firm, round butt is now possible by taking fat from unwanted areas of your body. It’s a solution to saggy or flattened buttocks, and an option for someone who’s lost a lot of weight and wants to improve their new shape. It can restore confidence and a more youthful contour to your body that can be shown off in bathing suits or other figure-hugging clothing.
How is a butt lift different from a butt implant?
Butt lifts use a patient’s own fat to create the shape, providing a more natural look and feel. Butt implants are the insertion of silicone implants into a patient’s buttocks requiring stitches, and this comes with a higher infection risk.
Am I a good candidate for a brazilian butt lift?
People who are at their ideal weight, in good overall health, and who have enough fat that can be transferred from other areas of their body are good candidates. For patients looking to re-shape and sculpt their bodies versus decreasing their body size, this procedure is for them. Certain medicines and herbal products may increase bleeding time, so let Dr. Fiorillo know all the products you are currently taking during your consultation.
How is the procedure performed?
Brazilian Butt Lifts consist of two procedures – liposuction and fat grafting. Dr. Fiorillo is among the few plastic surgeons offering Puregraft, the world’s only clinically proven tool to improve fat transfer. He will transfer fat from 2-3 areas of a patient’s body, purify it, and then re-inject it into the buttocks. So not only are you improving the shape of your backside, but those suctioned areas will improve in contour as well. Most often the fat is removed from the lower back, thighs, arms, or abdomen. The fat is then strategically placed in varying depths in different areas of the butt to get a natural looking result you’re sure to be pleased with.
What is recovery from a brazilian butt lift like?
Typically, patients can return to a job where they sit at a desk within 7-14 days. A return to full activity levels can typically be seen 3-4 weeks following a Brazilian Butt Lift procedure. Some swelling and bruising is to be expected, and this will improve in the weeks after your procedure. A special garment should be worn for 2 weeks after your Brazilian Butt Lift which will help reduce any swelling.
What are the possible risks of a brazilian butt lift?
Most surgical procedures share similar risks and potential complications. These include excessive blood loss, blood clots, numbness and pain.
