Dysport, developed in New Zealand and available in Europe for over 10 years, is the New Alternative To Botox! Like botox, dysport is a protein extracted from the bacterium clostridium botulinum, which is used to relax muscles in troubled areas as for the forehead. However recent studies and our own observation here in Dr Fiorillos office show that Dysport acts quicker,seeing results as early as 12 hours later,lasts longer and is less expensive than Botox. Dysport was Initially used to treat motor disorders and various kinds of involuntary muscular spasms in Europe and became FDA approved in April,2009.
